During the 90s, a group of passionate growers from the Netherlands travelled to South Africa to gather genetics which could be added to their library. Using the genetics they collected, this team would give birth to a nearly pure Sativa (12% Indica) made exclusively with those genetics. This Cannabis plant would eventually take over Amsterdam’s coffeeshops, mostly still around today, and was known as Power Plant.
Our Power Flower is our attempt to recreate the popular features from one of Amsterdam’s most famous weeds. This feminized plant will grow over 1 m tall, up to 1.5 m, indoors, but can stretch to 2 m outside. It prefers a warm environment like California or Italy, however, it can be grown in south of France and Germany, while more northern latitudes are not recommended for this marijuana strain.
Power Plant was the original large-yielding commercial crop and we are proud to say that Power Flower is just as big. Growers can expect anything from 65-85 g per plant, or up to 650 g per square metre under a 600 W light. Grown outdoors, it can yield over 100 g per plant, but will require a lot of sun and food to do so.
With such a high yield in only 8 weeks flowering, combined with a moderately easy grow, Power Flower is easily a top contender for a commercial crop grower. With lots of light, fluffy green nuggets filling up all spacing between internodes, Power Flower is suitable for the sea/screen of green operations. The relatively easy grow also makes it suitable for first-time growers who want as little a challenge as possible.
Power Flower will give smokers a taste of sweet and sour, like lemon and limes, followed by a subtle pine fresh flavour. It’s not just taste buds that are refreshed as users can experience a smooth high, with an energetic and active experience. Between its pleasing smoke, moderately easy grow and massive buds, Power Flower is guaranteed to leave you satisfied and yearning for more.
Dutch Passion Dolce Vita Feminized is a Cannabis Seeds variety with a very nice fruity smell and taste and an uplifting narcotic effect, so energizing that it can be used during the day. Dolce Vita feminized seeds are very easy to grow. They show a good germination rate and produce strong healthy seedlings, very vigorous in vegetation, “growing quicker than you can pot them up”. Though mostly sativa, Dolce Vita Feminized plants look very indica, they have large fan leaves and stretch just a bit. Plants of this marijuana variety show excellent results in all sorts of growing setups, she is said to be the best pot strains, and is also great in hydroponics setups/greenhouses and outdoors. The plants finish between 7 to 11 weeks, the latter ones being the biggest yielder. Owners of outdoor gardens start harvesting at the end of September or at the beginning of October. Plants are very dense with tons of frost all over. Dutch Passion Dolce Vita Feminized look is fantastic, and, what is very important for indoor cultivation, Dolce Vita produces no real odour. The Caboose is a famous Californian cut, a cross of the original Trainwreck with the legendary Salmon Creek Big Bud. After several years testing we were able to reverse it and self it, to make stable feminized seeds. The strain grows compact, with short internodes and wide branching.
The structure of the branches makes it a good filler and a great producer; it has the irregular bud formation typical of the Trainwreck heritage, with the calyxes large and round, with purple and reddish hues, but the buds grow large and dense, more like a big Bud than a Trainwreck. This large-calix and large-bud combination is very rare, and makes the Caboose an ideal commercial strain with great quality and a very complex aroma and flavour.
The Caboose is good for outdoor and indoor, and performs great on all mediums. If plants are large the branches should be supported. The EC levels can be high, especially when the plants are in a healthy environment and perform at 100%. The Caboose is a fast hit, burns well and has a distinctive mineral taste, complemented by a flowery background. It smells like Chinese oranges and spring blossoms, but it also has a pungent, almost metallic scent (a memory of the heritage from the Big Bud side).
The resin is very white, giving it a really cosmetic look. The effect is very intense.
It starts very trippy, then moves on to a slow but steady descent into the realm of narcotic and couchlock.
It is not suggested for productive or creative moments, it is more suitable for relaxing, chilling,
watching movies or just as a pre-sleep aid.
